Los Altos-Mountain View PONY Baseball

Fields: Cupertino Middle School

Location: Cupertino Middle School is at the corner of Bernardo Avenue and Homestead Road in Sunnyvale, near the junction of Homestead Road and CA 85.

Note that the Homestead/85 intersection is “broken”, which can be very confusing to those not familiar with it. If you are new to this field, do click the link below for directions.

Used by: Pony Division (ages 13-14). This is a home field for Sunnyvale/Cupertino PONY Baseball. LA-MV teams play here as part of our Interlock with Sunnyvale/Cupertino.

Parking: There is a small parking lot adjacent to the field with access from Bernardo Avenue, and plenty of street parking on Bernardo. Please do not park in the residential areas around Edmunton Ave and La Salle Drive; the walkthroughs there are for resident's use only.

Fields: Cupertino has one full-sized skinned baseball diamond that can be configured for either Pony Division (80' basepaths) or full regulation baseball (90'). The field includes bleachers, fenced-in dugouts, and seperate bullpens for each team. There are also two Bronco (70') diamonds.

Facilities: Large blacktop area; basketball. There is also a small playground at the opposite end of the school campus, near Helena Drive. The webhamster is still checking on the availability of restrooms during games.

Cupertino Middle School is bounded by a residential neighborhood on its east side. Please respect the homeowners in the area by staying within the speed limits (often 25MPH), parking only in designated locations, staying off private property, and minimizing noise away from the field. Note too that we of LA-MV PONY are guests on this field that is used and paid for by Sunnyvale/Cupertino PONY Baseball; we need to show the same care and respect we would show when visiting anyone else's home. For more information please read our Good Neighbor Policy.
