LA-MV Fields: Rosita

Location: Rosita Field is located behind the Rosita Community Center at 401 Rosita Avenue in Los Altos. Rosita Avenue is a dead-end street off of Springer Road; the field is at the end of the street on the right.

Used by: Home field for Pony (age 13-14); also tryouts for Mustang, Bronco, and Pony (ages 9-14).

Parking: Parking is available in the Community Center lot and on the street in front of the Community Center. Do not park in the lot next to the tennis courts; we do not control that property and you might find your car locked in.

Facilities: Chemical toilet. Playground and tennis courts available at adjacent Covington Park.

Fields: Rosita has one grass-infield baseball diamond located behind the Community Center building. The field can be configured for Pony Division (80' basepaths) or full regulation baseball (90'). The field includes bleachers, fenced-in dugouts, seperate bullpens for each team, and a batting cage.

Rosita Field is in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Please respect the homeowners in the area by staying within the speed limits (usually 25MPH), parking only in the Community Center lot, staying off private property, and minimizing noise away from the field.
