Benjamin Bubb Elementary School
Location: Benjamin Bubb Elementary School is at 525 Hans Avenue, a couple of blocks north of Cuesta Park in Mountain View. The baseball fields are on the south side of the campus, with the easiest access from Barbara Avenue.
Used by: Shetland and Pinto-1 (ages 5-7).
Parking: There is plentiful street parking along Barbara Avenue, which is closest to the fields. Bubb School also has its own parking lot with access from Hans Avenue.
Facilities: Chemical toilet, playground, basketball nets, and large blacktop area. There is an additional playground and picnic area at Bubb Park, just to the west of the ballfields.
Fields: Bubb has two baseball fields. On the west, towards Bubb Park, there is a skinned 50' (Pinto) diamond that includes team benches and bleacher seating. On the east, there is a grass Shetland field with backstop. Families watching games are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs for seating.
Bubb School is in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Please respect the homeowners in the area by staying within the speed limits (25MPH), staying off private property, and minimizing noise away from the field. Be particularly sensitive of the homes along Barbara Avenue, which directly face onto the ball fields. For more information please read our Good Neighbor Policy.
