Camps, Clinics, and Lessons

The following organizations offer baseball camps, clinics, or lessons to youth baseball players. We list these here as a free service; all come highly recommended from multiple LA-MV families.
Stanford Baseball is offering Hitting, Pitching, and Infielding Clinics throughout the month of January, for players 9 − 12 years old. All Star Academy is offering All Skills Camps for ages 7−12 over Ski Week (Feb 18 − 22) and Spring Break (March 24 − 28, and April 14 − 18). For more information or to register, download the flyers below, or visit www.asabaseball.com.

St. Francis High School Baseball is offering a three-day all-skills Boys Baseball Camp December 26-28, 2007, for players currently in the 7th and 8th grades. The camp is taught by Head Varsity Coach Mike Oakland and the Saint Francis High School Coaching Staff. All participants will receive a written evaluation from the staff. Guest speakers include former SFHS Baseball Coach Chris Bradford, and Santa Clara University Recruiting Coordinator Mike Zirelli. This is a great opportunity for Pony-aged players to get a taste of real High School baseball.

Archbishop Mitty High School Baseball is offering “The Baseball Experience,” a valuable day of instruction and education for future high school players and their parents. Camp staff includes Mitty Head Coach Bill Hutton, UCSB Pitching Coach Tom Myers, Bellarmine Head Coach Gary Cunningham, New York Mets scout Doug Thurman, CCS Commissioner Nancy Blaser, MLB players J.T. Snow and Kevin Frandsen, and a crew of AMHS alumni currently playing college or professional ball.

The Camp is Saturday December 15, 2007, from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and is open to players currently in 7th and 8th grades. For more information, download the informational flyer; to reserve a spot, contact Bill Hutton as described on the flyer.

Santa Clara University Baseball offers a variety of clinics and camps year round. Programs include Pitchers and Catchers Camps, Hitting Camps, and Instructional Games Camps. Schedule and online registration are available at the Santa Clara Baseball Baseball Camps Web Site.
